The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali
Yoga is a method by which we bring peace and happiness into our lives through lifestyle choices, movement, breathing and atttention. Understanding how Yoga works unlocks this potential. This is what we will share with you!
The Yoga Sutra is the primary source text of Yoga. It was compiled around the 4th century CE by a sage named, Patanjali. The text lays out the path of Yoga and covers many topics that help us to better understand who we are, why we struggle and a method to free ourselves from unnecessary suffering.
In this series of online classes, we will go through the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali verse-by-verse, unpacking the meanings of each. From this class you will gain not only a deeper understanding of Yoga but of yourself and why Yoga works.
Whether you are a long time practitioner, student, teacher, spiritual seeker or explorer, we highly encourage you to attend. The format will be very conversational with plenty of space for dialogue, question and answer.
